Job Description:
The software group manger provides direct hands on supervision of a small software team doing integrated product development. Software includes, scientific algorithm, embedded systems, control systems, graphical user interface. The hardware platforms are varied as are the development environments. The projects range from optical navigation through radar systems. The manager is expected to direct development and provide technical solutions where necessary.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a physics and math background and software development experience on a variety of platforms. He or she must work well with a multi-discipline team on integrated product development and be quick to assimilate new technologies. Experience with AGILE management techniques is expected along with a proven track record of successful projects.

Requirements:
MS in engineering, computer science or the physical sciences or the equivalent work experience.

Work Experience:
At least 5 years at manager level
